#RepealThe19th is trending on twitter after poll reveals Trump would win if women couldn't vote

As Donald Trump supporters try to prove they can, indeed, get worse, the hashtag #RepealThe19th begins to trend on twitter.

For those of you who skipped out on American History, these people are advocating for the removal of the 19th Amendment to the United States' Constitution that granted women the right to vote.

This is after a recent poll that showed what the election would look like if only men or only women could vote.

These supporters of the hashtag aren't just men though, and even some women Trump supporters have advocated that they would give up their constitutional right to vote to "see this happen".

It took women a long time to earn the right to vote, thanks to first wave feminism started at the Seneca Falls Convention advertised as "a convention to discuss the social, civil, and religious condition and rights of woman", which sparked the movement for women's suffrage.

Ignoring the obvious misogynistic nature of the idea, the idea of repealing the 19th Amendment is ridiculous and not even remotely feasible, nonetheless, supporters of the idea have been sharing their views on twitter all morning.

Thankfully, an overwhelming amount of tweets sporting the hashtag seem to be contempt of the idea, and not in support.
